Experience
I graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with a bachelor's degree in English with a focus primarily on British literature of the early modern area. Shortly after receiving my bachelor's degree, I enrolled in a master's program at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, where I graduated cum laude with a Master of Divinity. Since then, I've been working as a public school teacher in North Carolina. I've had the privilege of teaching English literature and writing to high school seniors who are preparing themselves for life in college or the professional world. There's nothing that I enjoy more than helping bright minds develop the organizational skills, writing proficiency, and study habits needed to succeed outside of high school. My experiences have taught me that all students have the ability to not only succeed in the classroom, but enjoy education as a whole. I believe that every student has a learning style that's unique to them, and the best way to set them up for success is to teach them in a way that works best for them. Outside of teaching and English literature, I also enjoy playing racquetball, watching sports, spending my time outdoors where I can cycle and go kayaking with my friends and family.
